If you think you know what Private Client work is - think again

With one of the largest private client teams in the world, we represent a broad and exciting range of clients. These include entrepreneurs, landed estates, trustees, executors and wealthy individuals with business and personal interests in over 80 countries. We also act for a wide range of intermediaries who advise private clients such as private banks and trust companies.

To satisfy our private clients wide range of legal needs the department has been split into two separate practice groups: EST (Estates, Succession and Trust) and Wealth Planning which is itself split into three teams; FAB (Family and Business Planning), FITT (Funds, Investments, Tax and Trusts) and International.

Successful people need highly integrated business and personal advice

Our corporate, commercial and real estate practices continue to experience rapid growth. We are highly rated by both Chambers and Legal 500 in a whole host of non-private client areas such as mergers and acquisitions, financial services, hotels, investment funds, sponsorship and partnerships.

Of course, the commercial and private client parts of the firm work increasingly together. For example the launch of our Wealth Planning FITT group combines the talents of our corporate and tax lawyers to help clients such as hedge funds, private equity houses and asset managers.

The firm has a number of special interest groups which include cross practice group collaboration and geographical focus. Special interest groups include Hotels, Landed Estates, Brands, Charities and Philanthropy, Arts and Cultural Assets and Family offices, as well as expertise in Latin America, the Far East, Continental Europe and Russia.

More detailed information on our practice areas is given on our corporate website.
