Withers is an international law firm dedicated to advising successful people, their families and their businesses. We provide integrated advice on the US, UK and international legal and tax needs of our clients. Our mission is to offer a truly integrated legal service to the globally wealthy.
Our UK operation (Withers) was founded in 1896 and the US side (Bergman Horowitz and Reynolds) in 1962. Both firms grew quickly and soon established reputations for high quality work in the fields of family and landed estates in the UK, and tax planning in the US - reputations we still hold today. The merger in 2002 between the two firms came in response to client demands to provide integrated transatlantic advice to individuals.
We now have almost 700 staff and offices in London, Milan, Geneva, New York, New Haven, Greenwich (Connecticut) and Hong Kong.
