Application process

We primarily recruit our first-year associates through our summer associate program and therefore we recommend that you take a look at the summer program and campus visits pages of this site.

We would, however, also like to hear from interested 3L, tax LLM and experienced lateral candidates for direct hire to one of our offices. Please use our online careers portal to send in a direct application, using the link below.

First year training

We offer an extensive training program for those embarking on a legal career. Our first-year associate training program is designed to ensure that junior attorneys are given all the help and training they need to develop their legal careers, encouraging the potential to become the partners of the future.

As a first year you should expect to be exposed to all aspects of our wealth planning & tax practice. Our intention is to create every opportunity for you to become a cross-trained attorney who understands our business thoroughly.

Our formal orientation program for new associates provides an introduction to the major areas of the firm’s practice. To further enhance and refine their legal skills and knowledge base, our associates attend various training sessions and lunch gatherings frequently throughout the year, as well as training seminars and conferences sponsored by professional bar associations.

Each first-year associate is assigned a mentor. The mentor is on hand to guide the associate through their acclimation to firm life. We encourage associates to assume responsibility of substantial matters at an early stage in their careers. Formal reviews with HR take place regularly and feedback is given on a project-by-project basis.
