The application process
We prefer our trainees to undertake an internship before taking up a training position. We are currently recruiting for prospective trainee solicitors to join us in 2021, and undertake a vacation scheme in 2019.
The deadline for applying to our vacation schemes is 31 January 2019 and 30 June 2019 for training contracts. All applications should be made using our online careers portal.
We start to review applications approximately one month prior to the application deadline. Whilst we would not fill our places before the closing date, it may be useful to know that we do start to schedule interviews before the deadline.
The recruitment process
Your application will be reviewed and if selected you will be invited to a first interview with a partner. At this stage you will also be asked to complete a written English exercise and an online verbal reasoning and numerical reasoning assessment. If you do well in both the interview and the written exercise you may be asked to attend a second interview.
The second interview will also be with a partner. Successful candidates will be offered a place on our internship programme.
At the end of the internship you will be asked to attend a further interview with two partners, where you will be asked to give a ten minute presentation.
